Photoshop vs. Integrity
This week in “Leaders Behaving Awkwardly”…
Hakeem Jeffries, House Minority Leader, posted a photo with fellow lawmakers.
But internet sleuths spotted something… off.
The park bench was warped. His head looked a little too high.
Turns out—he (or someone on his team) may have Photoshopped the image to make him look taller.
And the internet roasted him.
Harmless? Maybe.
But here’s the leadership takeaway:
When image becomes more important than integrity, trust starts to bend.
It’s a reminder for all of us—whether we lead teams, brands, or families:
Don’t distort the bench.
Own your height.
Stand tall because of your character, not your camera angle.
